Common faults and solutions for electronic balances

1. Symptom: The electronic balance self-test fails to pass, and the following fault code appears.

"EC1": CPU damage "EC2": keyboard error "EC3": balance storage data loss "EC4": sampling module not started

Cause: The fatal error caused the balance to not work properly

Solution: Please send the balance to the factory for repair

2. Symptom: The balance shows "L"

Reason: 1) No weighing pan
2) There are foreign objects under the weighing pan
3) The airflow cover touches the weighing pan

Solution: 1) Place the weighing pan on the weighing pan
2) Gently pick up the weighing pan to check if there is any foreign matter under the weighing pan and take away the foreign object.
3) Gently turn the weighing pan or airflow cover to check if there is any contact, and adjust the position of the airflow cover.

3. Symptom: Load balance shows "H"

Reason: 1) The loading object on the weighing pan is too heavy, beyond the large range of zui
2) The balance has been calibrated with a weight or other object that is less than the calibration weight value, resulting in an overweight weight on the normal range.

Solution: 1) Weigh only within the range
2) Recalibrate with the correct weight.

4. Symptom: “H” or “L” is displayed when the power is turned on, and the loading display has no change.

Cause: Sensor damage

Solution: Please send Hengping to replace the sensor.

5. Symptom: The balance shows “E1”, the display shows an overflow, and the displayed value has exceeded 99999999.

Cause: When the piece count or percentage is weighed, the sample value is too small

Solution: 1) When the piece counts, “E1” appears. First, take the object on the weighing pan and re-select the number of samples. Select the integers of the sample 10 times, 5 times, 10 times, etc. as samples. Write down the multiple of the current sample and read the displayed value multiplied by a multiple of the reading. For details, please refer to section 3.3.2 of the FA type electronic analytical balance manual for weighing.

2) When the percentage is weighed, “E1” appears. First, remove the object on the weighing pan and re-select the sample. For details, please refer to Section 3.3.3 of the FA Type Electronic Analytical Balance Instructions for Use.

6. Symptom: The display data has changed normally with the change of weighing, and suddenly it will not change.

Cause: An object larger than the correction weight value was used to analyze the balance calibration, so that the display no longer increases after a certain display value is exceeded. Solution: Recalibrate the balance.

7. Symptom: No display appears after pressing the “Power On/Off” button

Reason: 1) The power is not plugged in.
2) The power adapter is damaged

Solution: 1) Plug in the power
2) Replace the power adapter.

8. Symptom: After the power is turned on, only “O” is displayed in the lower left corner of the display, and there is no other display. It shows that the balance weighing environment is unstable and the balance cannot always get a stable weighing.

Reasons: 1) There are foreign objects under or around the weighing pan.
2) Strong vibration and airflow around the balance
3) The weighing environment selection and weighing range of the balance can be set incorrectly. Solution: 1) Please gently pick up the weighing pan to see if there is any foreign matter, pay special attention to whether there are small foreign objects.
