Shenzao No. 1 and No. 5 have a short growing period, and their emergence matures in about 90 days. Shenzao No. 3 has a growing period of 100 days. The 667 square meters of production No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 were 333.6 kg, 399 kg and 354 kg, respectively, and the output value (sale of green corn) was about 926 yuan. Four; conclusions Cultivation practices show that watermelon and early summer corn interplanting is feasible. The row spacing of watermelon plants is large, and interplanting corn is easy to operate. The symbiotic period of watermelon and corn is only about 30 days, and the two do not affect the yield. The birth of Shenzao No. 1 and No. 5 in northwestern Liaoning Province was only about 90 days, and the yield per plant was more than 200 grams. It is appropriate to apply these two summer sowing maize and watermelon intercropping. Summer corn sowing date may be suitable on June 15-20 (specific sowing date should be determined according to the growth period of corn), and 667 square meters planting density is 1800-2000 strains. Since the summer corn is broadcast live and has a short growing period, it may not be top-dressing, but it is necessary to apply enough base fertilizer and mouth fat.
