Therefore, the general culture method is the use of ponds to cultivate plankton, the opening of the fry under the earthen ponds, at the same time put a lot of fish ponds under the water supply to the southern bigmouth bass fish feeding. Such a culture method not only has a low survival rate, but also requires a large number of supporting domestic fish splashes, which has complicated procedures and high costs. To solve this problem, after years of exploration by the author, the use of cement pools to cultivate southern bigmouth larvae not only has a high stocking density, a high survival rate, but also has an out-of-specification specification and a relatively low cultivation cost. The technology is introduced as follows.
The southern estuary was only light yellow when it came out of the membrane. Before its color was not darkened, the siphon method was used to collect the same batch of sprayed water into the cement pond for raising, and put 10,000 tails per square meter. Cement pool area can be large or small, a few square meters to tens of square meters can be. It is also possible to set up a temporary pool with impervious materials such as color strip cloth. The pool height should not be less than 50 cm. The water depth is maintained at about 30 cm, which is conducive to the observation of fry activity. Set up shade on the pool to avoid strong light. Air compressors are used to fill the air in the cement pool to provide sufficient dissolved oxygen. After two days to three days, the color of the fry was darkened and darkened. There were obvious eye spots. It was also found that a few of the first-open fry were consuming other fry, indicating that the fry began to turn to ingest exogenous nutrition. At this point, zooplankton must be collected immediately for feeding, or mink chopped to 2 mm to 3 mm in length, splashed into the pond for their feeding. The fry has night feeding habits, is active at night, and has a large food intake. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement one or two feedings at night in addition to feeding one meal every morning, evening and evening. Do not put too much food to avoid causing water pollution. Feeding techniques are fed along the walls of the pool during the day and the whole pool is splashed at night.
Regular replacement of old water in the pool and sewage disposal is one of the key measures to maintain water quality. When changing the water, the siphon method is used to suck out the dirt deposited at the bottom of the pool, and the amount of water to be changed is 1/3 to 1/2 of the original pool water, and the water is replaced once. Some well-conditioned fish farms use uninterrupted water instead of air compressors to increase oxygen. Although they can keep the water fresh and have sufficient dissolved oxygen, they are prone to the occurrence of small melon worms due to prolonged water stimulation and cause serious losses. Therefore, this method is not desirable! When the fry grows to 1.5 cm to 2.0 cm, it should be divided into pools, stocking 1,000 to 1,500 fishes per square meter, and water depth can be increased to 40 cm. At this time, the mink to be fed does not need to be chopped, and the water scoops in the basin and the water to stir and spill it into the pool, and the fry will grab food. The leftover leeches will gradually gather in groups and will not die immediately and will not pollute the water. However, the southern largemouth bass does not ingest the blisters. Therefore, the blisters can be collected and will continue to be fed next time.
The best time for the southern bigmouth larvae to emerge from the pond is 5 cm to 6 cm in length. At this time, the seedlings had a strong predation ability and a high survival rate. If the ponds are not kept at this time and continue to be raised in the cement pool, the seedlings of this specification will be unable to eat each other due to the decrease in the ingestion intensity of the otters, which greatly reduces the survival rate. It is worth mentioning that the color of the southern largemouth larvae cultivated in the cement pool is darker, unlike the shallow color of the seedlings grown in the pond. Therefore, when farmers purchase southern bigmouth larvae, they should judge whether the seedlings are pure from the appearance characteristics of the fry, instead of just judging from the body color.
In the whole process of seedling cultivation of the southern estuary, leeches were used as a single nutrient source, completely replacing the open bait, and good results were obtained.
