The storage ditch should be selected where the terrain is high, the drainage is good, the groundwater level is low and the shade is cloudy. The ditch is 1 meter deep and 1-1.5 meters wide. The ditch length is determined by the number of cuttings, usually 10 meters. After the ditch is well controlled, a layer of 10 cm thick clean wet sand is laid on the bottom of the ditch, and the cuttings are bundled one by one in a sequence, and the bundle is separated from the bale by fine sand. After laying down one layer of cuttings, a layer of 10 cm thick wet sand is laid and the gaps in the cuttings are fully filled to prevent freeze-drying. Usually put 2-3 layers on the line. Another method is to put the cuttings obliquely in the ditch, and the cuttings are also filled with wet sand. The temperature in the ditch should be maintained at about 1°C, and it must not be higher than 5°C or lower than -1°C. When the temperature of the ditch is close to 7°C-8°C, when the cuttings have a fever phenomenon, the ditch should be turned back in time to thin the cover soil.
