How to quickly cultivate old banyan tree piles and shorten the molding cycle? After many years of practice, the author introduces several simple production methods for reference by bonsai beginners.

First, multiple branches inserted: After the Ching Ming Festival, with eucalyptus trimming, select some different sizes of branches, cut into different heights of cuttings, according to modeling requirements, high and low scattered, tied together, cuttings in the mud (in points After planting, it can also be combined) to make the roots cross naturally. After survival, at the junction of each branch, the bark was cut with a knife to make it anastomose and stick together. After the second year of Qingming, it was dug up and combed roots, short and thick long roots were cut, and the branches were temporarily trimmed to make full use of photosynthesis piles. Restoration is generally performed during the dormant period to avoid excess exudation of white mucus and affect plant growth. Then planted, promote roots to accelerate, accelerate adhesion, remove deadlock sticks embedded in the cloth, sticking inadequacies can be added in accordance with the law. In the third year before and after Ching Ming, it was pruned and reshaped, and the pot was raised to control the extension of the roots indefinitely. Second, the old dry line: eucalyptus vitality is easy to insert and easy to live, even if the old cuttings, as long as care, generally can survive. The adoption of the veteran: First, select the branches with promising cultivation from the old banyan tree and cut them down to cut them. However, the dry, elegant, unobtrusive, unworthy, and abandoned pity, they are cut back to the old dry cuttings and cultivated for several years. Later, it has become luxuriant. After two times of rooting, it has begun to take shape. If it can be replaced with a smaller variety of leaves, it will have more ornamental value.

Third, the fit-planting: Fitting and planting is the most ideal way to increase the rough and promote the ancient. According to the design, 3 to 5 young and three-year-old saplings were selected. After the Ching Ming, according to the modeling requirements, the post-branching root branches were cross-spliced ​​into one body, and the soil was maintained by high-cultivation soil method, the plant pot was maintained, and the plasticity was trimmed according to the growth conditions, and gradually The roots of the roots will be rooted and the landscape will be established three years later. Fourth, by thickening: perennial piles, the trunk is still too small, or the shape is not ideal, can be used to rely on the young trees around the thicker. Excavation of green compacts from the mountains, although the old dry, more than the roots, branches are not ideal, you can use their veteran, relying on methods to make up the root, in the first three to five years with the landscape. In order to further enhance the ornamental value, the leaves are larger, and small leaf species can be grafted for crown replacement. Grafting should pay attention to the crown: high buds or branches are good, but the skill is not skillful, temperature is uncomfortable, the survival rate is not high, it is best to take the mud with a high altitude, then use a small plastic bag to wrap the root with mud. Then, the survival rate can reach 100%. After survival, the seedlings near the main trunk are buried in the mud and attached to the trunk to make it thicker and thicker; the seedlings farther from the trunk are, depending on the needs, some to go to the roots and some to stay on the roots. Some roots stay full, roots are developed into sagging roots, and hanging on branches, there is no taste. In 1995, the author purchased the saplings of S. chinensis, with few branches and the base of the trunk. In addition to the three roots, the fine roots were not. After two years of cultivation, the roots were still thin but not long, and the roots could not be exposed. The seedlings of A. japonica transplanted seedlings were attached around the original piles, and the method of replanting and supplementing the roots to make up the roots not only changed the shape of the tree, but also made the leaves smaller. But the left lower branch is thin and short, and the overall tree is an equilateral triangle. After the seedlings are rooted, the rooted shoots are lengthened, the roots are retained, the water bottle is used to remove the bottom, and the root is filled into the bottle to fill the soil.
