Our Week In Review:: 4.24.12
This past week has been a whirlwind of fun and meaningful moments, each one leaving its own little imprint on our lives. Aliyah's persistent requests for a haircut finally won over, and off we went to ensure her locks would be in tip-top shape for growth. Her excitement was contagious!
Speaking of cozy moments, there was this unexpected hot tub date that happened during a surprisingly cool spell. We kept the windows and doors wide open, letting the fresh air sweep through our home as if nature itself wanted to join us. It was magical.
A rainy day came along, turning everything outside into a watercolor painting. I couldn’t resist pulling out my favorite coral Wellies from my spring collection. Compliments flowed in like the raindrops, adding a touch of cheer to the gloomy weather.
The kids and I took a trip to a big-box store, and one of the highlights? Tandem cart rides! There’s something inherently joyful about zipping around the aisles in a double-seater cart. And then there were those quiet mornings spent cuddling while watching the sunrise—a perfect way to start the day.
We didn’t entirely leave New York behind; memories lingered, and we found ourselves in a quaint local pizzeria savoring slices that tasted like they came straight from Brooklyn. Another evening was spent at the park with Aliyah’s “babies†and our own littles running wild under the twilight sky.
Of course, no week is complete without a Girl’s Night Out. Sometimes, all you need is a little time away to recharge. And barefoot bike rides? Pure freedom. They’re not just about the ride; they’re about feeling alive.
As for photos, I snapped a few over the week and decided to compile them today. You know how it goes—sometimes pictures speak louder than words. This collage is a snapshot of our journey this week, captured through an iPhone lens and arranged with the help of Big Huge Labs' mosaic maker. Simple yet effective.

Until next week, here’s to living life one moment at a time. Cheers to the small joys that make life beautiful.
P.S. Always remember to embrace the chaos, cherish the connections, and take plenty of photos—you never know when they might come in handy for a "Hump Day Dump."
