His invention significantly advanced the adoption of mechanized conservation tillage in his village and surrounding areas, making Dingjiajie the first village in Fushun City to embrace this technique. As awareness among local farmers about mechanized conservation tillage grew, along with the spread of related technology and equipment, Lin’s tool became increasingly popular and widely accepted. In recent years, Qingyuan County has been designated as a provincial-level project area for conservation tillage. The no-tillage sowing and fertilization technology has been widely adopted in the region, offering farmers greater efficiency and time savings. This innovation has not only improved agricultural productivity but also gained recognition in neighboring areas. Farmers have embraced the method due to its convenience and effectiveness, making it a key part of their springtime farming activities. During this year's spring plowing season, Lin produced a total of 2,600 seedlings and fertilizers, selling over 1,500 units at 100 yuan each, generating a net income of more than 100,000 yuan. In addition to personal profit, the village provided employment opportunities for over 80 people daily during the spring planting period. These workers helped neighboring villages by seeding and fertilizing 3 to 5 acres per person each day, earning 80 yuan per day. Over the course of the spring farming season, each worker could earn around 1,600 yuan. Seeding and fertilization have now become a major source of additional income for local farmers, highlighting the positive impact of Lin’s innovation on both the economy and the community.
