Hazelnut rearing management and fattening method

Hazelnuts, often referred to as "dragons" in some regions, are not only unique in name but also rich in flavor and nutrition. Their meat is soft, white, and highly delicious, making them a popular choice for both culinary and health purposes. The grouse, on the other hand, is a bird that resembles a dove in shape and typically weighs around 450 grams when fully grown. It has a breeding season that spans from April to October annually, during which it lays approximately 80 eggs per year. Newly hatched chicks weigh just 15 grams and can be sold between 2 to 3 months of age, reaching a weight of 450 grams. When raising hazel chickens, it's important to start with proper incubation. Newly hatched chicks should be placed in an incubator, where the temperature is maintained at 38°C for the first seven days. After that, the temperature should gradually decrease by 5°C each week. At 20 days old, the chicks can be moved into cages for further development. A balanced feed formula includes 40% corn flour, 35% soybean meal, 20% light fish meal, and 5% wheat bran or fine flour. Additionally, 3% of the feed should consist of growth promoters and 2% vitamins daily. Green feed should be provided once a day to support their overall health. For young chickens, proper ventilation in the chicken house is essential. Before the henhouse, there should be an open area for them to move and exercise. A net cover should be installed on top of the shed to prevent escape. Inside the house, habitats should be set up, with one habitat per 30 chickens. A sand pool should also be available, allowing the chickens to bathe and aid digestion. Egg boxes should be placed in the house to provide a safe space for laying eggs. The humidity inside the house should be kept around 70% for optimal comfort. The feed for young chickens should be similar to adult chicken feed, but with added tender grass or vegetables to enhance their diet. There are two main methods used for fattening the chickens. The first involves mixing 50% cinnamon powder, 20% dried ginger, 9% licorice powder, 7% fennel powder, 6% cooked soybean powder, and 8% ferrous sulfate. Each broiler is given 1 to 1.5 grams of this mixture at a time, and it is mixed with regular feed. This feeding schedule is done every other day for a period of one month. The second method involves administering 3 to 5 mg of chlorpromazine hydrochloride daily for 15 days to promote weight gain. Both methods are effective in improving the growth and marketability of the chickens.
