Fermentation Agent for Processing Bagasse in Papermaking Paper is primarily made from plant fibers, and bagasse—byproduct of sugarcane processing—is rich in cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignin. It has great potential as a raw material for paper production. However, when bagasse is directly processed mechanically, the presence of lignin can cause excessive energy consumption during pulping, leading to high costs. Therefore, it's crucial to reduce the negative impact of lignin. The structure of bagasse is complex, mainly consisting of cellulose (about 35.4%), hemicellulose (around 20.6%), and lignin (approximately 18.6%). Cellulose is composed of β-1,4-glycosidic bonds and exists in a two-phase system: crystalline and amorphous regions. The crystalline part contains hydroxyl groups that form hydrogen bonds with water molecules, making it resistant to breakdown. Hemicellulose, chemically similar to cellulose, is a heterogeneous polysaccharide with shorter chains and contains sugars like arabinose. Lignin, which makes up about 95% of the total mass, acts as a protective layer by binding with hemicellulose, preventing microorganisms or enzymes from reaching the cellulose, thus making hydrolysis difficult. Research has shown that white rot fungi and soft rot fungi are effective at selectively degrading lignin, improving the digestibility of bagasse. These organisms can break down the lignin structure, making the fibers more accessible for further processing. The Golden Baby fermentation agent contains a mix of fungi, bacteria, and actinomycetes that work together to break down lignin and loosen the bagasse structure. This biological pretreatment helps soften and condition the material, making it easier to separate the fibers during refining. As a result, the process becomes more efficient and less energy-intensive. Additionally, using this fermentation method significantly enhances the mechanical properties of the resulting pulp, such as tensile strength and tear resistance, making the final paper products stronger and more durable. 60cm flood control boxwall, 60cm high flood barrier, big size flood barrier Denilco Environmental technology(Suzhou)Co., Ltd. , https://www.wflood.com
