Chili root disease mainly has two kinds of root rot and epidemic diseases. Symptoms that distinguish the disease mainly harm pepper stems, leaves, and fruits. In the initial stage of disease, stems develop watery lesions that cause the seedlings to trip over. The base of the stems is dark green or black. The upper lesions are water-stained at the beginning, followed by brown or black streaks, and the black spots on the stems at the tiller are the most Commonly, the branches above the diseased part quickly wilted. Leaf lesions are round or nearly round, with a diameter of 2 to 3 cm. The lesions are dark brown in the center and yellow-green on the edges. From the pedicle, the fruit victim begins to develop water-stained, dark-green lesions, which later become brown and soft, with a layer of white mold growing in the air. Root rot mainly damages the roots and stem base. The epidermis of the disease is light brown to dark brown, and the epidermis is fragile, exposing the xylem with dark dry rot. Usually after the onset of colonization, the upper part of the diseased plant leaves wilted and returned to normal the next morning, and the whole tree died after a few days. Prevention and control methods Soil root disease should be based on prevention. After the onset of disease, it is often less effective. 1. Seed soaking with 1% sodium hypochlorite solution for 5 to 10 minutes before sowing, sowing germination after washing. 2. Strengthen field management, prevent the accumulation of water in the field and flood irrigation, use resistant varieties, and increase organic fertilizer. 3. Growth period of pharmaceutical control. Prior to colonization, the diseased plots were flooded with 500-800 times of radomil (or glyphosate or antibiotics or Prokor or Anke or B-aluminum) at a rate of 500 ml per hole and then re-irrigated at the early stage of disease. The root rot occurred at the site before the colonization with carbendazim or thiophanate-methyl or Dakoc or chlorothalonil 500 times irrigated acupuncture points, the initial stage of the disease and then the two liquid irrigation, continuous 2 or 3 times. When chemical agents are controlled, different agents should be used alternately, and do not apply drugs one at a time, so as to prevent pathogens from producing resistance and reduce the control effect.
